Recently, I was asked what the difference was between my professional critique service and my copy editing service. This was my reply to her. I hope it clears things up.

For a professional critique, I review the work and give my opinion on what works and what can be improved. For Proofreading, I check the spelling and punctuation. These changes I suggest with a red pencil and the author makes the corrections. And for copy editing, I not only check for proofreading errors, but I check sentence and paragraph structure, flow of text, emotional connection to reader, etc. As a copy editor I actually make the changes. I don't just suggest them.

Website: $10/page with $30 minimum

Business Documents: $2/page with $20 minimum
